Hezemans Indoor Karting in Holland has re-invested back into its busy kart circuit in the Netherlands this year with a new track and new adult and junior electric go-karts!
As part of a €1 million project which took two months to bring into fruition, owner Mike Hezemans chose to stay with BIZ Karts, this time making the switch from LPG to electric with the purchase of 28 adult and 8 Junior EcoVolt NG karts. Plus, new solar panels on the roof generate enough energy to recharge the karts throughout the day, making the circuit energy-neutral. Of the karts, Mike Hezemans said “we could not afford to be behind in an innovative city like Eindhoven. Electric driving is the future”.
Mike Hezemans is no stranger to our electric karts. They also run the hugely popular R1 Indoor Karting, based this side of the pond in Rhode Island. The state-of-the-art kart facility opened in December 2016 and run 39 adult EcoVolt NG's and 12 Junior karts for the younger drivers. Read more about this installation here.
The new karts at Hezemans' European track are, of course, top spec, featuring custom graphics kit, three kart speeds as well as the relevant safety features including roll bar and harness.
